Particular emphasis was placed on congenital heart defects and their management through interventional catheterization and cardiac surgery. Activity Report:
The Second Conference on Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery was held in Qamishlo on September 16, 2022, organized by the Rojava Doctors’ Union in coordination with the Autonomous Administration. The conference brought together a wide range of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons working across northern and northeastern Syria.

Under the coordination of the Rojava Doctors’ Union and in collaboration with local pharmaceutical warehouses, a scientific symposium was held in Qamishlo under the title Scientific Day on Recent Surgical Developments.
